Toronto Animal Services

Toronto Animal Services TNR Spay-Neuter clinics are open to cats from Toronto colonies only. The caretaker needs to have completed our TNR course and passed certification. You must register your colony in our CatStats database before you can make your first appointment. Follow the steps through the link below to make an appointment.

Toronto Humane Society

Toronto Humane Society’s Spay-Neuter clinic is open and offers free services to those who have completed the TNR course and obtained their certificate. No appointment is required. They accept two colony caretakers per day, (first come, first served) with up to two cats per caretaker. No appointment is required.

We recommend phoning in advance to learn the latest rules for accessing the clinic and give them notice that you will be bringing in cats. If you are traveling some distance and wish to bring more than 2 cats, please make arrangements with them directly. In some cases you can book all the slots for the day. THS has also been closing the clinic some weekends. Always check in advance.

Ontario SPCA

The OSPCA Stouffville and Barrie locations offer low-cost spay-neuter TNR services without requiring your TNR certificate (though it is strongly recommended). No appointment is required. Stouffville accepts two feral cats per day and Barrie accepts one cat.

We recommend reaching out to the OSPCA to notify them of your intention to bring a cat in and learn of their latest policies and guidelines.

Toronto Street Cats

Toronto Street Cats operates a free spay-neuter clinic out of Toronto Humane Society on an on-going basis that is entirely for the Trap-Neuter-Return program. Please visit their site for more details.
