TNR Blitz for Feral Cat Awareness Day
Do you live in the M1L postal code area?
In honour of Feral Cat Awareness Day, members of the Toronto Feral Cat Coalition will be holding a Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) Blitz on Thursday, October 15. Volunteers will be working together to trap, sterilize, and provide recovery for feral cats in the Scarborough area with an M1L area code.
Feral cats will also be given a health check, microchipped, and vaccinated. Cats will then be held for post-surgery recovery for two days and returned to the area where they were trapped.
Call to Actions:
Inform Community Cats Toronto by email at info@communitycats.ca if you know of any colonies of feral cats in the M1L neighbourhood
Ask anyone who feeds feral cats to not feed them after 6 pm on Oct. 14th in the M1L neighbourhood

In addition to feral cats being spayed/neutered, qualifying low-income cat owners in the M1L area can receive a free spay/neuter on October 13, 14, and 15. Toronto Animal Services will provide spay/neuter for qualifying households through its SNYP truck, a mobile vet clinic located at Scarborough Arena Gardens, 75 Birchmount Avenue.
